Welcome to the Community Women's Club (CWC) - the only spouses’ organization serving the entire Aberdeen Proving Ground military community. We foster unity within the military community, provide a support system for each other, develop leadership skills, and broaden and enrich the lives of our members, while promoting a strong bond between the military and surrounding civilian communities.
The CWC mission is twofold -- to raise funds in support of scholarship and charitable requests from APG and local community organizations, all while encouraging members to develop relationships with each other. In the recent past, we have contributed to crisis pregnancy centers, the VA medical center and local schools. Participation in Operation Help Our Heroes, Bunco, Book Club, Lunch Bunch and others, give members lots of opportunity to gather, socialize and get to know one another. CWC's monthly general membership programs enable members to enjoy a variety of other experiences such as comedy night, lessons with a Master Gardener, Oktoberfest – and yes, an occasional traditional luncheon.
